  • Ni hao- Hello :D

So I've been learning Chinese and Arabic and here are some things I've learned.
    Chinese:
    China - zhong guo
    Hello - Ni hao
    Goodbye - zai jian
    Goodmorning - san shang hao
    Goodnight - zao shang hao
How are you - ni hao me
I am good - wo hen hao

    Arabic:
    Egypt - masr
    O.K - mashy
    Goodmorning - sabah el khair
    Goodnight - masa el khair
    No problem - al afoo
    Goodbye - salam
Theres more but that's all I feel like writing right now :P

For Chinese, I'm learning it from a guy named zhang who I found on skype forum. He is 22 and lives in beijing, China. We are friends now and we play msn games sometimes as well as practising/learning our languages.
My friend, Fady is teaching me Arabic. He is 22 and lives in Egypt. I think Arabic is a little easier than Chinese cause it almost looks how it sounds and Chinese doesn't very much.

My sister, mary is in haiti and doing very good. You can check out http://haitichildren.genesisgenius.com/ and see what she's up to
My brother, Micah is home from AU and the phillipines now. My sister, Martha and her husband and my neice have been in CA for a couple weeks and today they are headed to AZ. I'm not sure how long they will be there but I think not more than a month or two...maybe only a week (I hope) but I will have to find that out. I miss them, especially Bethany.
My sister, Anna and her family who were staying with us for a while have bought a house and moved in all in the last week. I spent the night there a few days ago. Its a nice house, very "homey" and comfortable.
So all in all my family is in good health and doing well. And yes, I am fine. IM me if you want to chat

  • Yanghua, my Chinese friend, sent me pictures and a movie of him in his dormitory. I guess he works at someting called the DCS (Distribution Control System) and he has no religion but is curious about christianity. So I got to tell him some but I hope it doesn't get him in trouble cause I was talking to some people about the place he lives. They said it was one of the more "safe" places for christianity in China, but you still had to be careful. So I hope I was careful enough. I want to talk to him more about it too.
I still haven't learned any Chinese but I'm sure I will eventually
I went shopping today with my mom and sister, but didn't buy anything, just let them borrow my money, lol. But I did get food. I made them go to the Chinese Resteront :P It was VERY good food too, I'm glad we went. The only problem I had with it was the music was oldies and the waitress wasn't Chinese :( lol. I guess I'll have to go to China-town or CHINA if I want perfection I actually do want to travel someday...probably soon.
